1. I save the little scraps from projects to glue to things later...

2. I enjoy painting my toes different colors.

3. I hate the smell of aspen colonge enough to make me want to puke.

4. I carry an extra tooth brush with me everywhere, I have two at home. (with floss)

5. I drink a gallon of water a day..sometimes more.

6. I like the taste of seaweed on anything.

WK 9

Wow single digits...we have hit single digits. That's good. X-mas/yule was good. There was no fighting amongst the little people which was almost the most amazing thing ever. I almost sent up a flag of happiness on that one. We went on a walk. * mostly to feed someones cat* Which we must do again today.
Well I have to get more crap done. Like decide if I should walk to the persons house an feed kittiness an then to px an call a cab home. Or see about a ride to said places. I dont know. I am going crazy. But, I am hitting th stretch now. YEAH!!!! But I am sure it's gonna go slower now....

WK 10

Well everything is doing fine I guess. I have a Doctors appointment today will be hanging out with D, an then going to the movies with J. So at least it should be fun if hectic. We are about to head into the single digits for the weeks here so I am happy about that. I am hoping that the ARMY takes the earlier end. I always take the other. It's safer. I also sta vague anyways. But, it is getting so close yet still so far. D also is waiting on hers. I have all my shopping done. But thats more because I have no money than because I dont want to buy anything else. next year I will be starting yarn projects early(4 in particluar) to make sure they are done by now. :P Tara I miss you!! Well less than 3 months to go now. I can do this. I can, I have to. Next month I should begin work as a crossing gaurd in front of the school. So I should be getting a decent amount each month extra. Yay! I Finally took Pics of the scarves I made to put up on my Esty shop an I FINALLY have Heidi's box together....lets hope it makes it there BEFORE the baby :P

11. Snow! Love it or Dread? I miss it....I also miss the Christmas Market in Mannhiem an Hiedleburg.

Ok once again my stress level is way above what it should be. A bill I thought I got rid of last month pulled from my account so now I may have to return my girls christmas to Wally World....... yeah...happy holidays. If the lady I used to baby sit for would just pay me this would not be a problem........

Another week behind me. Went to a veterans toy give away were the officers showed up an took the majority of the good toys before poor little broke wives could get there. But the girls are happy that's all that matters. Deciding when to pull all the crap outta the storage room so I can get to the tree. I am buying two strings of lights for outside thats it. I have to budget hard this month so I can get all the stuff for christmas for the girls. A grand doesnt stretch far when you have to cover everything. Oh well. I will deal. Hope everyone is doing well.

Wow...another one gone by.

This week has been crazy. Anna had her girlscout induction ceremony on Monday. Then a Stranger course on Tuesday(which didn't put a dent in her "I am gonna talk to everyone" ways) An yesterday we also had an escapee from the school a kindergartener got loose people!!! An he went home! I am sure he wasn't happy after daddy met him at the door how ever. CPS have been visiting people up and down the street. It has been insane. Good thing my house is clean...Thank you !!!

I still can't get the last bit of weight off. I am getting close to only buying the kids food an veggies for me. Yes people it is getting that frustrating. Oh well. I hope everyone is doing well.....

It's just been one of those weeks. But, at least it went. Been walking even more than usaul. Which is good. Been having migraines like mad. But, thats to be expected I guess. It goes with the flu I cant rid of. Yay. Well Hope ya'll are doing alright. I know I am being pretty boring lately. :P

Okay..now I have had everyone asking me, "Gina why did you add a month to your hubbins time? They said probably febuary." Well people, I was BORN into the army if there is one thing I know...the army is NEVER back on time. Getting there yeah sure, usaully early. BUT, NEVER EVER are they back on time. SO if the really do get back in Feb, I will be one happy camper. But, I doubt that. I really do. An I refuse to dissappoint myself that way. :P

An on that note...strepp throat sucks!! Cough cough. Sorry Hiedi your baby stuff may not get there in time. I don't wanna work onit while I am ill. With my luck strepp travels well. :P

Well hughughughughug everybody! Just four more months(at the most) to go. Now if only this last 29 lbs would get off my butt.....*grumble-grumble*

Well there goes ANOTHER week. Now I just need to drop another 30lbs to be happy with myself. Everything is pretty hectic right now. I am in an internet cafe inside the taco bell here on post. So no pictures today. Sorry! But, soon Dave will be home an the hectic pace would be so hard to bare. Well, off to the post office, the comissary, the px, and several other places before I runover to the school an get Anna for the day. I hate wensdays in CA.

Well I have made it to the 'teen weeks. It is supposedly gonna fly by now. I reeeeaaallly doubt it. Sold some scrunchies. Now I am making more to sell. I saw someone selling the baby blankies (the tiny double stitch ones) for $60. So then how much should I change for those big ones I made Will an Tom? I got Anna's school photos. Well...another week gone by....another 5 lbs lost. Yea(sarcastic). So tired. I am adding the edging to Tom's blankie now. I will take a picture when I tie it off. Kadi had an awesome birthday. She loved all her presents. We had a fun bar-b-que. I miss Dave so much.

Another week...some more head aches. Halloween is coming up though!!! Can't wait. Well and it will be in the teens on the week count then. :P Anna is doing well with school an having loads of fun. Kadi is well ...........Kadi. She turns two on the 10th. Can you believe it!?! I can't. I wish the next 21 weeks would go by as fast. One more row of squares to join on Tom's blanket..then all I have to do is edge it.

Well hello everyone...... Another week gone. Time is still going by so slow. I am so tired. Need a little break. But, that is so not gonna happen. Got a few more squares onto my boy blankie, and a couple rows into my right glove. Anna is having fun at school, and back to school night was fun. Well I guess that's it....

Hello people. Made it through another long week. I go an get my license today. Pray, hope, dream whatever it is you personaly do, that I get it the first try. It's an hour drive to the DMV. Lost a little more this week. About a lb. Yea.
I am over half finished with the blankie I am making. All I am doing now is joining. I started a pair of fingerless gloves...on a pattern ya'll!! Let's all hope. I am making them in that polo from red heart. I am going to rip all those squares an start over on that....much later. Hug...thanks for letting me bore you.

Sorry people that is TWO saturday skies in a row I have missed.... Sigh. Will make it up to you some how. Maybe posting a picture of the project I am almost finished with. As soon as I can get more AA's for the camera. Been working on the house some more. I have no idea why since I need to start packing it all back up soon. Since the housing here will be torn down on my street in January...an Dave won't be back to help. Crap...... Oh well. Have fun all.....

Wow...gone though 33 weeks already. Can you believe it. I can't. But, it has felt like forever. SO the next 29 should feel just as long. I miss him so much.

Anna had a good birthday yesterday. Well you all have fun for me. *yawn*

Well, there is another week gone by. I can barely believe he has been over there for 22 already. Okay *deep breath* I can do this. Going to the post office today to mail a care package to him. I hope to be getting my license some time soon. And a car next month or so. Yippie...I can go places by myself. Or I dont have to if I dont want to. YEAH!!

SOoooooo Tired....

It is official....... kids have an inate way of hurting themselves, right after you tell them not to do something. I was walking with a friend.... a block into said walk I yell to Anna NOT to touch the telephone poles. And what does she do? Runs her hands down one.

3 Hours in the E.R. They removed 21 full splinters, and so many peices of rosin and wood we may never know. I had to hold her down while a very nice LT had to pick them out. I feel for him. He had to do a very percise procedure with the child screaming in his ear. They did a wonderful job.

But, I am sure she will never touch another telephone pole.....

My head has been killing me for a few days now. My husbands unit lost another soldier yesterday. No one else was hurt. But, it still makes you think. I am now trying to pull myself out of a funk. Another week has gone by. Blogger has been silly this week so, no pics today. Have fun all.....

Hello everybody. There goes another slow week. Working slowly onit. Really tired.....

I know. I know long time between posts here. Working on getting stuff ready for Anna to go to school and various jobs I have created for my self. I can't seem to get my brain in order as of late. Hoping to get some more saved up for the trip. Any offers. Hoping to get some scarves sold if you would like a granny square scarf. Just let me know. I can make them in just a few days. Well the play room is under control... sort of. But the stuffed animals are taking over!!! I seem to be doing ok. Just now I am in the crush of getting everything ready for Anna to go to school. Hopeing to get her signed up for soccer. Because she actaully wants to play! Wow exercise! And trying to get Kadi registared for Daycare. SO I can use the measely 15 hours a month they allow free to wives of deployed soldiers. So at least I can have a little time to myself each month. Yeah.....

Hello all. Another week gone by. I need to go to the dentist. Chances are I am going to need braces. ALL my teeth are shifting, but the front two around my gap. It is really starting to hurt. The girls are doing well. Growing bigger every day it seems. I finished my baby blankets for Grandma and the frg. I just need to mail them. It will get done. I hope. I have begun work on a scarf made from a nice shade called Aran Fleck, that my friend Dea gave me. It is turning out nicely. Was hoping to go home for a visit durign the hotter months. But, now I am gonna be lucky to be able to make to my best friends wedding! I am open to ANY and ALL suggestions about raising money here. Unforunatly I can not afford Daycare. I have been tring to get them enrolled for two months in the free program but it seems to be backed up. I am hoping to get them enrolled by next month then at least I can do 15 hours a month at the comissary or something. *sigh* I am willing to make butterflies, scarfs, and baby blankets for a small fee since I need to mail them. Lol. And Heidi I promise I didn't forget I need your mailing address again so that I can mail your box to you.:P Have fun all...

Just Dragging On

I got a visit from a good friend yesterday that I haven't seen in a long time. Heidi, Joe Purcell says hi. Lol. He brought his wife Elana and his kids. We had fun. They left this morning. I still feel kinda drained. I hate it when I can't seem to be completely happy about something. I am having trouble being happy about anything. I feel it but, not completely. I find things funny, but I can't just feel totally happy. Well, I guess that just comes as part of the territory.

Another week gone. I am so tired. I wish Dave was here. He would know what to do. Or at least be able to help me figure it out. I love him so much. Sometimes I just don't know if I can do this. When I first got here, I found a wounded bird. There was nothing I could do for the poor thing except give it water. It hopped into my lap and drank. I sat very still in the early morning desert air. Listening to the sprinklers. For close to two hours I sat still while the dying creature sat on my crossed legs. Then just as suddenly as I had found her on my porch she stopped moving. I gathered her in my hands, and placed her inside a small box. When the girls woke up, we went on a walk and buried her. We placed a lot of large-ish rocks on top. The three of us sat for a long time an just looked at the mountains around us. And as sad as it was that the poor creature had died. I was happy that she had chosen me. That she had not died alone..... To show me sometimes it is necessary for us all to be reminded that everything has a spirit. Have you had a wounded bird moment? I hope you do.....
